Kingsbridge Alternative Strategies Fund – Investing in Home Equity Contracts

Kingsbridge Alternative Strategies Fund, LP

The Kingsbridge Alternative Strategies Fund invests in structured Home Equity Contracts, which offers the Fund’s “Qualified Purchasers” exposure to one of the most stable, hard to access, asset classes in the United States, owner-occupied single-family residential real estate.

Home Equity Contracts are an innovative investment vehicle offering Fund investors exposure to U.S. residential real estate without the costs and complexity of being a landlord.  Home Equity Contracts are structured as in-the-money option purchase agreements, secured by a performance deeds of trust, on owner occupied residential real estate.  Home Equity Contracts provide homeowners, who have substantial equity in their homes, the opportunity to access their home equity wealth without incurring debt.

The Fund invests in structured Home Equity Contracts originated by multiple Originators and has a growing portfolio of Home Equity Contracts backed by U.S. residential real estate in 13 states.
